- SÜA ER70S-2 is a triple deoxidized copper-coated mild steel wire primarily used in the GTAW (TIG) process but also in many GMAW (MIG) applications as well.
- The added deoxidizers – zirconium, titanium and aluminum differentiates 70S-2 from 70S-3 and 70S-2 wires making 70S-2 more suitable on rusty, oily or dirty surfaces.
- SÜA 70S-2 used in the GTAW process produces high quality, high toughness welds and is an excellent choice for use in single side, melt through welding without a protective root shielding gas on the backside of the joint.
